LVT flooring, meaning luxury vinyl tile, has skyrocketed in terms of
popularity in the past 10 years. Originally only available in glue-
down tiles, LVT is now available with an easy to fit click system.
Most LVT floors come with an acoustic underlay attached to the
board and they are, more often than not, a hybrid of stone (calcium
carbonate) and vinyl. These styles are known as SPC floors –
meaning stone-polymer composite. Water proof, easy to clean and
warm under foot, these floors are suitable in every room of the
